Sitting at home, thinking of her was tough, tough, Jesus I felt wretched, it was just, why had she done it? We had been together for three years and a few months. I thought she was happy, as far as I knew she was happy. I was always happy, mainly because I thought she was happy.

It was Gareth that had hinted that something was wrong after playing football last Sunday morning. My suspicions, although stirred, seemed incredible, I didn’t really believe anything was wrong. Then I spoke to her:
She said, “Must I paint you a picture, about the way that I feel,” I was confused this was like Gareth was right, “You know my love for you is, strong, girl, You know my love for you is real,” I replied
It took a short walk and a talk to change the rules of engagement, it seemed my fidelity wasn’t given any value, but I made the point of my loyalty and her infidelity, she searched frantically for reverse and then claimed, “virtue never tested is no virtue at all.”

And so I lost my ignorance, and now the bells across the river chime out your name sitting there I look across to them again, all my friends say come down, including Garath “It will never fly” he said.

On that imperfect day, I threw it all away, falling for what seemed an eternity I realised that the most important decisions in life, are made between two people in bed, I found that out at my expense ,now I won’t see you again, if I did you would just turn around and walk away like we never met, Oh I used to be so brave, but lying there bleeding all I can do is dream impossible dreams that we are lovers still.
