You say stuffed bear
I say not
He remembers things
You have all forgot
He was there when I was born
And I'll keep him 'till I die
Every night I begin to dream
He'll be resting by my side
He's finally learned my time table
I tell him all about my day
Mention anyone in our year
Guaranteed, he'll know their name!
I know he'll always listen
Sit there and NEVER judge
Try and make him spill my secrets
I promise he won't budge!
.......
Those years have gone, I'm older
But grown up I am not
'Cause beneath the worn out fabric
Dodgy stitching and patching
He knows he'll never be forgot
He was there when I was born
And I'll keep him 'till I die
Though I may not hold him close
He's always by my side

Very touching, I used to have a little blanket I used to wrap around me instead of a dressing gown hehe. Definitly something we can all relate to and well written. Great poem.
