One Night

I looked into your charming eyes
you smiled lovingly back at me
I moved my lips closer to yours
& we gently kissed
You held me in your arms gently
You held my hands
between your warm ones
I rested my head on your chest
We hugged for so long
It seemed like an eternity
You felt me shiver
and held me tighter
It was oh so wonderfully warm
just to be close to you
and feel your arms
that I forgot everything..
I was so lost in our embrace
so lost when I inhaled your breath
If only I could stop the hands of time
you'd forever be mine
We'd stay like this for all time
then...

I felt the cold mattress
I blinked once
and then twice
The darkness that I saw
brought a coldness to my chest
I refused to believe
but when I opened my eyes
I did not see your handsome face.
All I saw was the cieling
the cieling
of my dark & lonely room
There was no warm body
no warm hands caressing me
nothing
no one else but me
I was all alone
lying on my plain bed
I felt a sharp pain
a tear came out of my eye
& it was followed by another..
and another
two..
three.. four..
I could't count them anymore..
they just kept flowing over & over,
without control...
