This task is pointless,
Why write about mundane things?
I guess i'll just stop.

Why write about mundane things? That is the point of a lot of great, great poetry - looking at something in a new way. Not everything is Dante's Inferno... try Iain McMillan's 'Branwell Bronte Reincarnated as a Vest.'

I actually quite like this Pat, the irony of "mundane things" producing something creative is not lost! I agree with Ewan, sometimes the everyday can provide fruitful inspiration, if looked at from a new perspective.

now you see thats what i was aiming for, because personally i love poetry.. well writing it anyway so i thought i'd turn it on its head really and write a poem about how boring poems are;p you know a bit of contradiction =]
