Scene 3- class room, the pressure is on Gav, Brown is starting to hate him and the Teacher is trying not to be biased and is looking out for Gav.

(Brown pulls a chair out)

Brown- Please sit!

(Gav sits down)

Teacher- Gavin can you tell us why you’re being so—

Brown- juvenile

Gav- well I’ve been thinking!

Teacher- Yes!

Gav- Thinking what life would be like if i could do whatever i wanted and—

Teacher- Yes!

Gav- And i want to follow in so many footsteps!

Teacher- Yes!

Gav- I want to be an onstage actor!

Brown and Teacher- What?!

Gav- i want to be in Hairspray, Lion King, Bugsy Malone, Mary Poppins!

Teacher- Oh, why?

Gav- Well why not?

Teacher- urrrm—

Brown- we must contact the boy’s parents!

Teacher- he doesn’t have any!

Brown- hmmm, this is bad. I must talk to Ms Van Delsa. I will be back tomorrow, until then don’t lose him!

(Brown walks off stage)

Teacher- Gav why are you doing this, you’ve got a great life!

Gav- this dream is so close, i can almost touch it!

(Song touch of mine)

Once again this scene is very short and consequently doesn't give enough insight into the characters lives. Maybe make the interview longer and more intense? How about this: Gav is reluctant at first to tell them anything, saying they won't understand him, but Brown's patronising natures infuriates Gav and prompts him to blurt out his really dream - to be a theatre star? Just a suggestion. Midnight_Dreams
