Scene 7

Scene 7- Scar is on the street, so is Gav, non of them are paying attention to where they are going, they recognise each other straight away and connect as if they'd known each other all their lives

(Scar and Gav bang into each other)

Gav- I’m sorry again.

Scar- (giggles) every time i see you we bang into each other. i'm sorry for the way i treated you last time, i feel bad.

Gav- (giggles) yeah it's fine, so why are you running?

Scar- I got caught for having a book on acting!

Gav- do you wanna be an actor?

Scar- yes like my mother!

Gav- i do too, except my mother wasn’t an actress.

(They laugh)

(Eva walks on stage eves drops)

Scar- well this sounds a bit weird but, we both wanna be actors, we both wanna get the onstage productions up and running again so why don’t we?

Gav- what us two? Trying to legalize it? How are we gonna do that?

Scar- i don’t know but we’ll think of something. We could campaign against it.

Gav- no it’ll just get us arrested. We could get an embarrassing photo of Elsa then post it on the internet, or make a movie out of it.

Scar- like we’d get one.

Eva- sorry but i couldn’t help over hearing, are you trying to legalize onstage acting?

Scar- yes. Why?

Eva- I’ve been waiting for you two all my life, i can’t believe I’m finally meeting you!

Gav- what are you talking about!

Eva- this sounds a bit crazy but you two are part of a prophecy, to bring back the old laws.

Scar- prophecy?

Eva- yeah. And i know just how to make that happen.

Gav- how?

Eva- you have to travel earth to the only play house left.

Scar- and where’s that?

Eva- oh, far away! In Leeds!

Gav- what that’s about 50 million miles away!

Eva- maybe not that much, i wish you all my luck!

(Eva walks off stage)

Scar- well if it’s the only way.

Gav-what, you actually beleive her

Scar- yes, are you coming?

Gav- if my legs drop off I’m blaming you!

Scar- they won’t and it’ll be worth it in the end!

(Song Small steps)
