Rain

Breaking apart (loaves of leaves) --
liquids peeling down with applause!
Horns of buttoned crystals (falling falling
out of a dashed necklace
)those were pearls
planted above salacious loops.
The colorless melt of smears
invites darkness vibes
as shadows dance to roots.
Down the showers through the faces
SHATTERED
through the blinds of wind, air, and flesh.
I, dotted with signatures of liquid eyes,
calm
drunken stars.
Exit you from trains of heat to sighs
of unbinding lithe streamin lies
through diamonds of trippin lines --
meteors storm down holes of mind.
Your eyes are revolvers
turning and turning
til the right blue note.
Pupils stalk to bud to flower in stasis.
Motions of other eyes, askance
cupped with a yawn
a fading, charcoal danger
to fully-lighted stare stare
an alloy of fear & desire
sheer contempt from a murderous vamp
to a closed balloon.
"I've heard this so many times before. Must you
drill that idea in again?"
behind layers and layers of optic coats
the retina huddles the light fibers, lenses the image,
passes it off to an optic nerve
under the daring face of a cafe.
Each drop I drop is a token
of an act, a gesture or a performance
you omit as also you
whose sirens & stops
clear the clutter in my veins
with the velocity of angels.
A glass lilac flows flowoverly
in rooms of enchanted speech.
Your mouth is open to sounds
teethed by memories,
asking those around you
to circumscribe your heart.
The eye's cut wide-open
a breath's pace away.
