Port Bickering Harbour, Nova Scotia
Our ferryboat’s alert, slap
of restless waves
anxious, hear the engines pout
powerful, surrounds the bay
tourists excitedly
arouse these placid waters
where jellyfish abound
in roaming numbers,
their orange façade
reaching with listless
tangle, wondering
what’s about
we know, we
capture the harmony,
sun’s reflecting light
eye-squinting calm-
Nature’s casual march
across our brow.
