Journey into Utopia

Let me take you on a journey; but not any, old journey. A journey into another dimension; a journey of enchantment as your eyes absorb the wonderment of a hidden Utopia. And a journey upon which, the only boundaries are those within the windows of our minds. So come, take my hand as I lead you unto a hidden yesteryear.
An ambient, morning sun slinked back from a golden skyline, smiling down upon all that dared to engage her charms. Butterflies danced upon blankets of lavender, in animated appreciation of the dawn of a new day. Birds chorused love songs, peeping out from the majesty of their rooftop kingdoms. And within this paradise unseen, Mother Nature herself, the giver of life to the fairies that tip toed and danced upon the breeze, bewitching all that made their acquaintance. Captivating; spellbinding, as they led all that were blessed with their presence unto faraway lands within this invisible universe. Seeing all, from their hiding places within enchanted castles. Yet sacred to the ‘little people’, never daring to show themselves to the ‘Elders’. And as every little person knows, Elders are non believers. Because the magic of belief has always been their giver or taker of life, causing their very hearts to beat; enabling them to have wings and soar high into air at the wonderment of children.
And fairies you see, have long since been the regal providers and granters of wishes; just as they were within this resplendent haven. A haven in which the impossible became reality, breathing life into the dreams of many a child. This Eden itself, being the only true master of eternal bliss.
And just as all, good things must come to an end, so did the magic of the fairies, as they prepared for destinations beyond this hidden world, each and every fall, the sun evaporating as lady Ice, awaited her grand entrance. And safely under Mother Natures’ wing, their glorious coats transformed into fine, downy seeds, encompassed by the gentle breeze as they took flight. Bound for lands far and wide; flying, flying; free.
And so it was time to bid a reluctant farewell to Eden; for another year. Until those fairies came back. Back to me, back to my little sister. And back to all of the children who have ever believed in them. But they would. They always did. And closing my eyes, they would always be with me; flying, flying; free. And I flew with them.
