Dispatching doves

For moments—need
Beyond, your walls
Circular emerald-motes
You’ve dispatched doves.
Throughout keyhole
Static, windows!
Their arrows take aim!
Beyond ram—drawbridge.
Hope is a battlement
Crying for adversaries
To scale the “heights”
Too charge the castle.
Too lay down their lives
Too show their metal.
She a damsel in distress...
...Sullen is she still.
In her dove white dress.
