Angel of Death -part 2-

I felt a familiar embrace,
As arms folded around me,
I wanted to drown in them forever,
But something didn’t feel right,
So I opened my eyes,
And glanced into the sky,
To find not a single star shining,
But darkness all around me.

I tried to scream and run away,
But arms held me tighter,
Don’t run my love,
Now we can be together,
I looked up at the angel,
Not understanding what he meant,
I just knew I had to trust my instinct,
And run like hell.

So I tore out of his arms,
And ran through the dark,
Not knowing where I was heading,
Just thinking about going home,
But something couldn’t escape me,
It’s like I met the angel before,
And as the memories came back to me,
I fell to the floor.
