Don't put your heart into it

A singer can make themselves cry,
silent tears for their own voice,
could it cause them to remember
all their heart pains and sorrows
before this one time they sing?
Why will you cry whenever you sing?
Do you sing so hard your eyes water,
or do you just put you heart into it
so much that it tears out and hurts?
...
Let me hear you sing, I'll know then,
why you cry, without sound, no breath,
you don't ever sob or lose your tune,
no-one would know you are crying, why?
You shouldn't cry! You'll make me cry!
You have such a sad and beautiful voice!
What magical ingredient makes me cry as
soon as the notes fly from your lungs?
You cry as soon as you hear yourself,
I notice it's never before you sing.
Do you think of every time you ever sang
though why should that be so sad for you
if now you are well enough to sing again
unless you miss the life you had before?
.....
What makes you cry when you sing my dear,
what thought could there be in your head?
I sang myself to sleep that night,
I thought of you, it made me cry.

Your a dark horse kahdai,
Until we feel our thoughts our thinking remains unfelt
