Eyelids

This dreary world of dark greys and blacks;
In which people see only the darkness in life.
They whinge and they complain,
They spread their misery to others sorrow;
They lie back on a bed of hollow visions
and lie still, thinking of their troubles.
They refute the positivity and Longevitiy;
and they deny the possibility and the eventuality.
They remove from themselves, and from their lives,
That which may make them smile, until a smile is little more
than a fading myth of legends.
They themselves become the legacy of sorrow.
Those few of the darkest blacks and greys;
Who worry and frown,
Need only smile, to return the flow of colour to the world.
Need only smile, to remain whole.
A legacy of grace and passion;
A myth of happiness and joy.
A prophecy of the euphoria passed on.
These myths and legacies... All is needed is to open your eyes.
