Safe Passage

Safe passage; A hope and a wish.
We wish for safety on our journeys, large and small.
We hope our passage will convey unmarked, untouched.
We pray that blood shall not be spilled this day.

The final line in sight, safety in tow;
Healthy and abundant, joyous and benevolent.
No delinquents or juveniles to count,
No madmen or artistic thieves to watch.

Those are the signs of a safe journey;
Those are the signs of a journey rarely made.

Youths and yobs, chavs, emo's.
Scenes more often viewed in bloodshed,
Than the passing smile of a stranger.
Scenes, of dangerous passage.

Hold your pockets close,
and keep ypurs eyes focused on that final line.
Pass by those who jeer and provoke.
and that safe passage you dream of...

It may yet come to pass.
