The Saddest Reflection
I stare at the mirror with a sigh
Why am I,
The only guy balding this time?
I look around and see thick flowing fresh heads
Tears well up because I’m thinking instead
Of growing more I still need hair cuts
I pick up the fallen from a sink and fear cuts
Into my soul imagining my head bald and old
I’m in my prime
Why does my head get so cold?
In winter I need to wear something thicker
Cover up the truth with a blatant denial sticker
From the head down hair is in the abundance
But upstairs I fear stares
Hair is redundant
To grow so I comb every strand up to cover,
The white skin lightening
Questioning my lover
