Gather Round

We are so lonely in this world
We grab a hold of what we see
People like you and me
We come together to be free

And to me its not surprising
With the things that we go through
The things that people do
why i came here to be with you

Just a spark of happiness
Is still a light within the dark
Its still a glimpse of where we are
When we’ve strayed far from our path

And we get to see the world
From a different point of view
The different level we walk through
We see things others never do

And so I walk upon this road
Sometimes only with a smile
Sometimes food and shelter
And sometimes nothing for awhile

But I see the places no-one sees
I shelter with the dirt and trees
And give my thanks that I have these
And take my knowledge home with me

Wherever that may be, wherever I feel free
But you walked this path with me
My handmade family.
