glowing from the overflow of love

i cannot love people
for they hurt and wound and humble...
they are vanity and position seekers, they
are lovers of mirrors
and nothing else.

I seek your guiding hand, please
hold my hand and lead me, take me
to the soul
take me to the soul
from where I grew.

i seek you Lord, not letting go of my hatred,
my anger,
my lust, my venom.
so many times I lifted my fist at you
wondering why there was so much inequality and prejudice!
Lord, please enter me
marginalize my ego.
