Cold rails at dawn
Over the river hill-shouldered
Sun in the gardens flowing
Shining wind speed-swayed
Seeing and leaving groundfast
Snake-legged through green
Sun in the clouds sky-rolling
Sitting sleep stricken
Smoke-cured stiff-legged
Clipped cold smiling
Staring end running
Sun on the towers extolling
Steel slowing into sheath
Spilling to earth recoiling
