Possess the Power

Rising from the horizon I am the sun
I am my own god I do what I want
No higher power, nothing to judge but your gun
Only to determine if it is real or a taunt

Do you possess the courage to back your word
Or are you a fraud, a lonely faker
For I speak my mind even if unheard
I am a revolutionist, a rebel, a shaker

So I ask you now, will you pull the trigger
As you know I have no enemy, not even time
To quiet me and my idea of something bigger
Will you back down or commit the crime

I eternalize my thoughts through writing
Thoughts of the things I think need done
Which is a revolution far more exciting
Than even the sound of your gun

Now you realize you don’t possess the power
To follow through with what you thought you supported
So return to your master and with him cower
As the deeds of my revolution are reported.
