As a journey like a stream, went the time

Beyond the bend of the waters
up into the dark beyond,
history flows on the banks of a stream
through forests that come and go
Chiselling rock ,churning earth ,and frothing foam
like a piper whistling a melody:
Deep and shallow he blows,
a tune that goes on ,and on ,and on;
of love lost and wars won-
from here back to the clouds above
Faith! to a gathering she wends,
with an entourage chanting her speed,
to the orchestra that is never silent,
but has memories on which to feed
For as a journey, like the stream,
went the time.
