Firefly-bright porch light and
a palo verde smell, 8:00-9:00.
The screen door’s flapping like
a wing in the wind; light inside.
Maybe it’s the thunderstorm or
the strong scent of SpaghettiOs.
1970s-orange everywhere. If we
smile, has the tile done it’s job?
