Bumblebee, you can’t sting me!
I’m allergic, you see.
I know you don’t care,
But don’t you dare
Point that thing at me.
If you pierce my skin,
Then neither of us win.
When you leave your sting in my arm,
You lose all of your charm
And we both lose our little lives.
Little darling bee,
You show no danger to me,
Your warning stripes are like a fashionable sweater.
I don’t think anything would suit you better,
except maybe a bonnet for my bee.
Yellow, black, ball of buzzing,
When everyone sees you they start fussing,
But I just want you as a chum,
Would that really be so dumb?
Let’s just bee friends.
