The world is shouting "hurry up"!
Europe doesn't give a fig.
We'll go our own way, as we want,
The rest of you can dance a jig.

However, now the banks are sweating
Governments are full of fear.
The public's always telling them,
That life is just too dear.

One asks if ministers give a damn
The reply is somewhat lacking.
They want to know, and straight away
Will their payrise get its backing!

So speed we find is something rare,
Decisions quite unknown.
For yes and no mean nothing now
And we can only moan.

G.20 meets not long from now
But nowt will come of that.
Another date will be arranged.
They'll pull it from a hat.

Now Murky and Sarko for once agreed
On matters very serious.
They've made decisions, who knows why
Which rend us all delirious.

So people, rise and shout aloud
We want our country back.
If government turns an ear that's deaf
They're sure to get the sack.

Just heard the news, our Dave has flipped
