Thats a funny lookin bat

You may notice that
I am no ordinary bat,
Other bats are the colour of the darkest night
While I am completely white

Believe me its rather a startling sight
To see me in full flight
Especially in a sky with no light
With my wings so bright

Because most bats are completely black
They cannot be seen
This being a colour I very much lack
Gives me a ghostly sheen

Other bats us to make
Fun of my pale fur
Clicking insults like “Snowball” and
“Looooser”

This upset me quite
So one night
I crept up on them, spread my ghostly wings
“BOO!”
And gave them such a fright
The colour of the night
Drained away
Until their fur
Was ghostly white

What's wrong with being different?
I like my lack of colour

It makes life so much funnier.
