I love Jam jars!

Fickle
What fickle creatures
we all are
If all our emotions were
in a jam jar
we could spread
some love on toast on Monday
have anger sandwiches on Tuesday
a spoon of guilt on Wednesday
rice pudding with dash of hate on Thursday
fear and self doubt pie on Friday
a joy-rolly-polly on Saturday
by Sunday our jam jar would be empty
and we'd have to borrow emotions plenty
credit, debit, loss and gain
we'd find a way to start again
and fill our little jam jar up
so on weekly emotion
we will sup

Is it okay to say this reminded me of Craig David? My granny used to tell me they could get into the pictures using a jam jar as payment.

thanks Alfie, i think we are just a vessel of emotion, we dole out portions, some spill on the floor, some leave wanting more! (i feel another poem coming on!)
