A spaceman's feeet!

Ever heard the one about the woman who fell in love with a space man?

She was everything he desired and couldn't talk too, so he left without her because his culture wasn't hers. He was everything she desired, yet couldn't accept his silence.

On hot nights when she relaxed, she'd dream him with her, and they'd stare down the telescope, down through a hole below them.... See strange stars,sometimes a hot sun coming up over the middle star, like a diamond on a pendant, as if she was planet bound.

Then later from space, when whole constellations would appear as cloudy as the milky way. Looking down from further above the telescope she'd see feet. Feet that clustered the walls of the telescope, feet that had no right to be there.

Somehow it spoilt the dream. He didn't explain the feet.

The next night she went outside in the dark to view the stars, and it was cloud covered. As she stood there in the cool spring night air, she knew with certainity where he was, what he was showing her, and one night looking upwards, the stars would rise for her.
