"Hallowed Halls"
As I walk these hallowed halls; I begin to wonder about the past.
As room by room is passed; a hard feeling of loneliness sweeps over me.
I contemplate whether to stop and turn around.
Whether to run back the way I came.
I call to my love but no reply is heard.
As these hallowed halls seem to stretch on with what seems to be forever; I have the sudden realization that I'm not alone.
I realize that my heart races wildly with love, and not fear.
As these hallowed halls bring forth my regrets; the biggest regret I have is letting you go.
I stop and sit against a door with peeling bright orange paint.
Weeping for the loss.
I scream out your name once more only this time to hear that "I am here my love!".
As I stand and run down these hallowed halls toward your angelic voice; the realization of my greatest regret is but a shadow behind me.
For I see you standing at the end of these hallowed halls with open arms and a smiling loving face.
Your arms outstretched and pure; unmeasurable; unbridled love in your angelic blue eyes.
These hallowed halls have given me the renewed strength and purpose.
I love you baby! You truly are my beautiful blue eyed angel.
