When We reunited

I remember when we reunited.
It was at a time
Last year, when I was about to give up.
You don’t even know this but,
When we reunited,
It saved me.
No one knows,
Except me.

I’m so thankful that we got,
Reacquainted.
Because if we hadn’t,
I’m not sure where I would be.
But I just wanted to thank you.
You saved my life,
Even if it was only for a short time.
You can’t say the same about me,
But that’s okay.

Because I just want this to be about you,
And how you saved me.
I hope that one day,
I can say the same and say that I’ve saved someone.
For I want them to know,
That even though we haven’t talked for awhile,
I still care and remember them.
So thank you for remembering me,
And caring.
