Last night - More torture, claims of - "I've got the ring!"
Phyliss said, "What did you do?
Kitty replied, "Asked them how did they get it. It would do them no good anyway, as it's in this book."

Phyliss nodded, "So who had it? Who did Mrs. Ee think was more worthy?"
"Some irish second cousin twice removed, was her choice. I never saw Grandmohthers will. They said they'd cut her finger off to get it."
"How awful. Are they human?
"You'd wonder. I said was she dead? Though cutting off a dead woman's finger is horrible!"
Phyliss shuddered, "Do you know yet who's in charge?"

"Might be someone who came around 8:45 ish today, very directive voice, demanded does she know yet? Have you talked to her about it? When they said no, he mumbled on as he walked away. I couldn't make out the rest... I got up and had a look. No one to seei!"

A child size, it was meant as so mething for my little finger when I gew up, or around my neck. It could have identified me. I just wish it wuld all stop... I'd no idea people would be so evil."

"Well I'm a bit er clever, and they also are interested in claiming they knew my stuff before I do. I suppose to pretend to be me..."
"Yes," said Phyliss, "That's worth investigating! Have you thought anything interesting lately?"
"Well.... I thought I'd found the site of I. Kingdom-Brunel's valve... I've left it in the arms of the archives service. I ended up having to apply for a job there, thanks to state regulations!"

"Well who will say they did first? I'll watch the tv. for you. There's also your thinking spots!"
