Missing Person

I'm a missing person
Neither there nor here
I woke up one morning
Found I'd simply disappeared
I'm a missing person
Cast no shadow on your ground
I open up my mouth to speak
And I don't make a sound
I'm a missing person
A voice said: "Fade to black!"
If you see me coming Mr
You better mind the gap
Is there someone? Anyone?
Is there someone missing, missing, missing me?
Can't you see?
I'm a missing person
A shadow of who I used to be
Has upped and gone
And the hole that's left is me
I'm a missing person
I failed to get a grip
Before I knew it I'd
Given myself the slip
I'm a missing person
A channel on the blink
My signature is written
In invisible ink
I'm a missing person
You'll just draw a blank
I'm the underneath of an iceberg
I'm the ship that sank
I'm a missing person
But what to me is unclear
If I don't exist
How come I'm still standing here?
Is there someone? Anyone
Is there someone missing, missing, missing me?
Can't you see?
I'm missing person
Barely a silhouette
Of a recollection
Of someone I now forget
I'm a missing person
A void to a vacuum
To an empty house
Inside an empty room
I'm missing person
I'm few and far between
The nothing that isn't there
I'm the man you haven't seen
Is there someone? Anyone?
Is there someone missing, missing, missing me?
Can't you see?
