NATURE HATES A VACUUM

nature hates a vacuum
so she keeps a dirty floor
with lots of grimy animals
to muss it even more

that's why the clouds bring rainfall
that will bathe it in excess
which tidies up the planet
when things get to be a mess

and rainfall brings the rainbows
that's the ribbon on the gift
a stream of pastel colors
that is certain to uplift

and when those rainbows fade away
the colors drift in space
and fly around the air
until they stick to someone's face

and when a person's smiling
its just rainbow residue
and if you just inspect yourself
you might find some on you

so let's all share our rainbows
never be afraid to kiss
though nature hates a vacuum
she's enthralled when we share bliss
