Awesome message,
astounding privilege,
miraculous conception,
eternal King of human birth,
Spirit Holy bringing forth;
Mary willing, serving,
humble, no thought she was deserving,
glorified her Saviour,
for all his grace and favour.

It must have been terrifying, not just then, but to bring up someone so important, the responsibility

Yes, but she was enabled, and after the shepherds has been led to visit the manger it says, 'And Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.' (Luke 2:19) She was obviously enabled to keep the whole family happily growing up together as she and Joseph had children afterwards.. Rhiannon
