Spring

the decapitated heads of flowers
fall, slanted, down the airs
over and over and over
to create a whiteness that shines.
Spring breaks through
as sunlight breaks through clouds
over and over and over
with hair blonde and rich
the greenness vibrates
buzzes
entertains.
rain is its footsteps
over the roads and over the hills
with feet as delicate as snow
blowing over
into the silence of the night
oh sing, oh sing
overblown expressions of dazzling stars
streaming over ponds or lakes
the moon
un bitten cheese
riding the night electric
screaming about all those yesterdays.
shiver shiver the bushes
green twisted melodies
shroom over and over
a continous parade of sounds.
I have found a home next to the tree,
the winter almost killed me, living
with alcohol and memories
i cannot get over,
i have found a blanket more comforting
than a wife,
let me sleep this night in peace
as the stars smile over me
and the booze keeps me numb, defeated, and alone.
I smoked alot of pot
to forget
the family I left when I could no longer stay
without wanting to kill,
now in the parks,
in the streets,
I find comfort and salvation in a blanket
and a bottle.
