words flow just like a river

when you're writing of true love

you hear the sounds of angels

emanating from above

and the words shoot out like blood

they spurt up like a geyser

from a pool of boiling mud

far better that you let it fly

than to keep those feelings in

when your temper's wearing thin

sometimes you're lacking common sense

and your words spill out like drool

it's said it's best to just shut up

than erupting like a fool
