I can't help feeling that we are heading away from civilisation into a me and greed society. I do think yesterdays world was functional, caring and supportive. There didn't appear to be the need to boot someone when they were down but to pick them up and care about them.

It seems that there is a reticence to speak out. Thoughts such as; what will others think or what can I do about it hold us back perhaps.

What would Jesus say about a church who stashes its cash anywhere whilst close to its doorstep many suffer and are denied simple dignity.

I say thank God for people such as The Archbishop of Canterbury. You definitely didn't get it wrong by speaking out.
