Saint Rasputin haiku macro-set

on a Tundra by
spiral domes rainbow-adorned,
a titan was born
through the frosted loins
of Mother Siberia
pushed a monk too "fast"
ill with carnal sin,
taking shovels to the brain:
who might HE disdain?
"beautified" clergy
sought a peasant point-of-view
to salt-faith renew
Gregory sought out
all hymns, clits, castes, whips, and "clists"
that communed with Christ
as Pushkin fought duels
and Tschaikovsky bred youths "Wilde:"
Greg sought Vodka cool
Peter's City oozed
such mystic opium memes
as soon woke bad dreams
first, the healing sage
cured the Winter Palace prince
with Oberon's care
then, stumbling vast streets:
our Tsar's depraved, raving muse
stalked by Duma deer
satisfying magic
human and algebraic,
he abject strayed motion
enemy clouds dropped
in police plots blotting ink
attracting Shiva's feet
and each cardinal
deposed: switched with small men
twitching brave new memes
and each strait-jacket
burst from magic! Riding clouds,
"crass above his class"
thus was dinner served:
arsenic-laced cakes gave ache
to his steel stomach
thus the nephew prince
with brave cocked pistol defrocked
the trusting warlock
but an hour later
he rose on his real hater
calling Alexandra
free to light-bathed street
he sprinting limped in death's defeat
attracting badged feet
pleading ice-blue blood,
the scions retained the scene
to kill the chlist Christ
but morning's paper
told all to Kremlin's young lord
and sword-drawn Tsar's horde
for the young pistol,
the front lines of sand-blown hell:
so fate's gavel fell
but murder's true mind
did behind new-wed princehood
and press worship hide
yet if the black monk
was in icy death-fire doused,
hell herself now roused
from sea's tiny hole
the empress' heart was like a
mother-zombie pulled
icing amity,
she Russia gave freedom's scream
mid Mars' Panzer dreams
Tsvarevitch to
hemophilia pulled, freed:
brave, still, great-born "weed"
and post Cold-War doom,
millions think at Stalin's tomb
as one query looms
Was Rasputin old
Russia's "beat" heart? Death's deft-head?
Peace's genie wished dead?
