Sound of Silence

interim to appraise
a palling haze
with caramelized malaise
shackles each gaze

shadowy reels do requite,
swallowing time, space
with extraneous insight,
muted tangents trace

a still calm cores,
no shape or face to deform
through cloistered doors,
sentient space does re-form

inner, outer peace
squaring the quiet grains
subconscious gains lease,
each. listless thought drains
