at times, we all are liars

to think differently, is daft

but face it, there are some who are

excelling at this craft

yes, lying is an art, you know

you have to do it well

for if you do it wrong, you'll find

that everyone can tell

a good lie starts much like the truth

you need a solid base

details, yes, but not too much

just framework for your case

then you start building upwards

but that's where things start to spin

instead of building straight on up

lies bend the edges in

the truth is like a building

where there is no hint of tilt

but lies pile up until

a cresting pyramid is built

who knows what architecture

is more difficult to climb

and which will be left standing

after ravages of time

good! maybe like a building that overbalances sometimes too? and that collapses on the builder …
