Racism Reconsidered 3

Now, although I am a Neo-Conservative, I come from a liberal civil-libertarian background. My hero was Alan Dershowitz. He is still my hero to a great extent. I have a deep distrust of popular opinion because it is not truthful. His writing is one reason that I do not believe in affirmative action because it is a purely racial decision and it continues the "unacknowledged" racial battles that go on and on in our criminal justice system. To replace this system with a class system seems reasonable to me although it seems to be a step back in America's evolution from England. But history is not purely linear. At the same time, I do see the need for minorities to have communities in elite and other colleges in the US. If there is a way of reconciling these factors through class, I am all for it. To get back to the matter at hand, what is the racial pecking order of the US and is this what really contributes to the racism in the US? The racial pecking order of the US is not something that is acknowledged and only brave souls like Bruce Cummings are willing to even broach the subject. There are books that English writers wrote on the subject, but those books concerning racial superiority are rather hard to find. "X-Men" comic books and books about superheros seem to have some ideas about what the pecking order was and what kind of intellectual or psychic powers were attributed to certain races, etc. But now, it seems to be hard history, realpolitik, that rules. Japan, Germany, China seem to be near the top. Culturally though, the Chinese still seem to be at the bottom of the barrel and racial ephithets like "chink" refer to all Asians. There is way too much discrimation against Chinese in America which really makes no sense. I can understand it from a Anti-Communist point of view but even then, Kissinger realized that China was a much better enemy than the Soviet Union. But Communists do not like to share power... which is the problem. In some ways, I have an idea of how these pecking order are formed. US makes an alliance with Japan and Japan wants to make sure that the US is not going to form an alliance with China so they say all these bad things about China. China does the same thing with Japan. South Korea does the same thing with Japan and China. When you realize how much discrimation there is between East Asian nations, you wonder how they get along. I'm pretty sure the situation is the same with African nations. But in truth, Japan, China, and South Korea are like 3 brothers who love and hate each other.
