Here is a House( this was call there is a house)

Here is a house

that  is 

very old

its windows big and bold

its paintwork failed as the year went by

 its  use to be

blue and bright

shining bright

in sunlight

and when people

walk by on a rainy 

day 

it brightens 

up their day

but time caught up with it 

 

All the lives that have

 live within its wall

 when it 

brand new

  a young couple in love

he carries his love across its door

who brought up their family within it walls

in time

kids running in and out of its doors

time went on  and

 years move on

 

 

in it 

garden  people would sit in the sun

children playing on swings

as people chatting away

and on a summer day

and in the wintertime

when it was so cold outside

its walls and fire kept its 

owner warm and safe inside

and at Christmas time 

a lovely Christmas tree in its window

would be bold and bright

with all  its light 

and a snowman 

just sitting outside 

 

open its front door

  you can feel

it warmth love and laughter 

its hangs in the air

you feel there

 

if you close your eyes

you can imagine 

children running around

running upstairs and jumping on beds

the sliding down its stairs

 

In its walls, babies have been born

cry have been heard

shock and screaming

and disbelieving

 

 

it has been empty for so long

it's now waiting

to see what next

the sound

a key turn in the door

a young couple walks in the hall

and smile

they say this is there forever home

and time start again
