Artemis 2

October is the most glorious month in New Hampshire. The leaves deck themselves out for the parade of death, multicolored and crispy. Like a tent, it covers the ground with a coat of many colors. Views and vistas that open into infinity's rainbow, cut through time and space, to let us breath in the generous and clean air of nature, falling down the airs in naked space.
Artemis did not actually know how to join the Navy. She had lived her entire 19 years of existence in the womb of her home, in the womb of nature, reading Thoreau, hunting, and fishing. She was driving through the winding roads of the Kasamangus Highway, wondering what she should do.
" I want to join the Navy."
Eyes looked up at her and then sized her up. She could hear a slight sneer.
"I'm sorry but we do not recruit for the Navy. We recruit for the Army."
The leaves were madly falling through the woods. She was wanting to seduce a young boy. She entered a bar.
"Vodka, straight up."
A blonde young boy sat next to her. He didn't dare order a drink.
"You can't sit at the bar."
Something about the idea of slumming or about the idea of hooking up attracted her. Sometimes she seduced 13 year olds. Sometimes she thought it was a way of getting back at her father.
