What if?

Look at every man and girl
Look at every woman and boy
Look at how they ask the world
Why is that we can't all be heard?
In a moment somewhere else
Someone stands all by them self 
Blaming God for all the hell
That man caused or a card they dealt

They cry
Is there someone out there for me
If there's someone out there 
Help me
I'm begging out on the streets 
With no integrity and shame on me
I've got nothing else left to say
An opportunity is all I crave 
I need that first chance
To get a second chance
Why won't the universe answer me?

What if the world was a wishing fountain?
Will all our dreams pile up in mountains?
Or would would we all just be heard
The misunderstood and reserved
What if the ocean had our problems?
And to the shore came great solutions
Do you think we'd all be fine
The deprived and compromised
