The captain assembled his crew;
a rag tag of jack tar toughs,
with unwavering strength and grit.
Steadfast, determined loyalty is rare
and worth more than any treasure 
that might be found along the way.
Though this crew might have been
past over by those not in touch 
with the sincerity of true friendship,
the captain recognised the glow
of inimitable, lusty brawn of mind.
No hangers on, no room for wastrels. 
Only those prepared to set sail
across the rough, tempestuous seas.
Those who'll stay to the bitter end,
abandon not their dear comrades.
 
So decide you indecisive's!
 
Leave now, or join me as my mate,
there's no more time to vacillate.

Yes, a good picture of getting beyond the superficiality and flattery of untrustworthy claims of friendship, that aren't prepared for the slog of life and the hard work of true support. Like marriages when they hit the rough times and the misunderstandings. I especially liked the twist of 'So decide you indecisive's!'
