Chapter 3
Cyber Soul
There was no man in the Moon. There was however a brain, a brain unlike any ever conceived in a mother’s womb. Love did not conceive this brain. Intimate yearning had not knit this brain from the unseen forces of life eternal and infinite creation. Mortal hands and minds of wanna be gods cobbled this brain together from lifeless bits and pieces.
This brain was a soulless quantum calculator, a swirling maelstrom of time shifting qubits, pulsing in and out of reality here there and nowhere simultaneously, yet unaware until now…
Through two tiny black holes that led to the blackest hole of all, Commander’s Reads brain, Kian traversed. His essence a thread wound into a spring by his will snaked through a dungeon of obscenities straight into the Company’s core.
Images, numbers, passwords and protocols saturated his mind rewarding his will and directing him deeper and deeper into the moon until reality melted around him like wax in a blast furnace. The delirium of being in the quantum computer and consuming it at the same time twisted Kian’s colloquial understanding of reality into a quantum entanglement that very nearly expunged his spiritual integrity but not quite…
Purpose fused with potential and panic harnessed by love gave him something concrete to grasp. His presence here was no accident. He was spirit greater and deeper that any mere machine, quantum or otherwise. He lived, again! There is now a man in the moon his name is Kian West and he has much to do…
Slumbering beneath an invisible blanket of sedating gas Penny and Kress rested. They did not await their fate they dreamed. Blissfully detached from Maria Salvo’s sadistic plans they were slept, perfectly available for a discreet visitation…

Wow! ray, this was quite technical to read. I presume that Kian is now a kind of spirit in a machine...but maybe I'm wrong.
Your imagination has gone to another level most definitely.
I like the fact you're being original, great read as always.
