Stay Dope

Our lives are like a storm
Now that my heart is over worn
I consider existence, had I not been born
Because my mind is bruised
Unapologetically my body was used
I can't take the stress of it all
I appear so rough
Yet I preserve a gentle touch
My magic backfired
So I've become unwired
This is an atrocity
An embarrassment to the state
Media too busy pointing at people's weight
Vacantly I roll up my tobacco
Sigh internally about the headlines
As I miss those who were never there
They're too preoccupied talking about what people wear
I digress there is not much left to do
It isn't where I am my love, its with whom
I'm pushing forward with an atom of hope
May be I'll find the one, whilst you stay dope
