Then she let out a very condescending sneer.

-How could I forgive my father? After years of teaching me to be a modern, independent woman, after years of building my admiration and love for him, after years and years of my idolizing him, after all those years, he takes all that away in a moment. It was so humiliating -- the rape -- it was the strangest and nastiest feeling. After the rape, I could feel nothing, nothing at all. I was just glad that it was all over.
