Once upon a time an ogre stole a little girls doll just to be mean and the little girl was sitting weeping and sobbing when a bear came walking by.
"Little girl", asked the bear, "Why are you crying?".
Because the Ogre has stolen my doll.
"Don't worry", said the bear, kindly, "I'll get it back for you".
And so the bear went to the house of the ogre and demanded of him,
"Give that little girl back her doll".
But the Ogre just roared and stamped its feet and said,
"Grrr. I could crush you with one hand".
And the bear got so frightened that he went off and started to cry.
But then, as he was crying, a rabbit came hopping by and seeing crying bear asked him,
"Friend bear. Why are you crying?".
And the bear told the rabbit all about the crying girl whose doll had been stolen by the ogre and what had happened when he'd tried to get the doll back.
But then the rabbit said,
"Don't worry, old friend. I'll get the doll back for the little girl".
So then the rabbit went to the house of the ogre and knocked upon the door and, when the ogre answered the door, he demanded of the ogre,
"Give that little girl back the doll you stole from her and apologize to my friend the bear".
But then the Ogre roared and stamped his feet again and said,
"Grrr. With just one of my fists I could hammer you into the ground like a nail".
And the rabbit got so frightened that, just like bear before him, he ran away into the forest and started to cry.
But then, as he was crying, a little bee came buzzing by and seeing the rabbit asked,
"Friend rabbit, what's wrong? Why are you crying".
And, wiping away its tears, the rabbit explained to the bee all about the little girl and her doll and the ogre and the crying bear and what the ogre had said to him when he'd asked for the doll back.
But then the bee said,
"Don't worry, Rabbit. I'll get the doll back for the little girl".
And then the bee buzzed away to the house of the ogre and, flying in through a keyhole in the door, said the ogre.
"Give that little girl back the doll you stole from her and apologize to my friends the rabbit and the bear"
But then, yet again, the ogre just stamped his feet and roared and said to the bee,
"Grrr! With one of my feet I could stamp you into the ground".
This time however, unlike the bear and the rabbit, the bee did not runaway or cry.
Instead it stung the ogre on the nose and the moment that it did the Ogre just broke down into tears.
The Ogre, you see, was not really very fierce at all but a big coward and it had only taken for someone to stand up to him to make him give in.
After that the Ogre gave back the doll to the little girl and he apologized to the bear and the rabbit and never bothered anyone ever again.
