Getting lost in Twain's amusing Roughing it
Carriage rattling in the praries enduring a female chatterbox,
later come across a jackrabbit, huge ears taller than a fox
they scare him by shooting,
flattening ears he responds by scooting,
hopping over bushes, gone in a flash
thirty five miles an hour, faster than a horse, some dash
We have them here too they're hares
