my life revolves around you
like a planet 'round a sun
you give me light and comfort
when i haven't either one

without you, there's no sunshine
every day is black as night
and that's why you're the reason
for my every thought and sight
.
my life is filled with music
from the songs your heart bestows
erasing all cacophony
till sense of comfort grows
.
without you, there is chaos
i am left without a clue
and that's why you're the reason
for the things in life, i do
.
my life is wrapped around yours
like the stars against the sky
the light, the heat, the romance
that's contained in you and i
.
without you, there's no heaven
just the raging flames of hell
but that's why you're my reason
for you love me just as well
