Moonlight

Moonlight --
a light face deflowered
a shadow slant
showered
with mellow moods.
Too many steps
after the stars studded themselves,
after the darkess swept into Night --
Ornament
O'er the rocking waves of the Sea
sighing after the working women
who shed pearl tears
to shell
Beauties.
Etruscan:
down the airs flowed the words of the Goddesses,
robed like fluted columns
after many mouths had spoken,
after many words opened like shells opening Aphrodites,
after many waves had curled themselves into curses.
Moonlight --
a silent dream on the cradle of night,
a whisper call
lost on the trails of a falling star.
Artemis
in a one button dress?
Once in the blue...
an opera singer hits the note
and the moon unravels
like a done...
Night climbs into lidded sleep
curls itself into a feline donut,
all its dark hairs falling,
tresses of dark matter,
mysterious whirlpools...
the sound of those who died long ago
who left
corpses
on the other side of Mind
to flood the world with signatures.
Moonlight --
a tuxedo blaring into song,
a stomach filled with so much charm
only condescends so far.
